The Institute for Particle Technology (iPAT) and NETZSCH Trockenmahltechnik GmbH invited ANZAPLAN to present at the Technical Days, September 24-25, 2019 in Hanau, Germany.
During the Technical Days, developments, trends and innovations in mechanical process engineering as well as practical examples were discussed. The event brings together experts from different fields of universities, colleges, institutes and industry contributing to the exchange between developers, system suppliers and users of mechanical process engineering.
ANZAPLAN gave a presentation on the efficient spheroidization and purification of natural flake graphite to qualify it for use as an anode material in lithium ion batteries optimizing both product quality and recovery. Jointly, Netzsch and ANZAPLAN based on its detailed knowledge of spherical graphite product requirements have developed and optimized a machinery setup for highly efficient, high throughput spheroidization of flake graphite. This equipment presents highly favorable economics and processing efficiency compared to the standard Chinese equipment.
