ANZAPLAN has been appointed by RockTech Lithium Inc. to carry out the production of a lithium hydroxide sample from a spodumene concentrate sample using the direct route.
RockTech is a publicly listed company based in Vancouver, Canada, and owns spodumene-bearing pegmatites in the Georgia Lake area located in Ontario. RockTech is planning to be a fully integrated company by handling the supply chain from raw material to battery grade lithium hydroxide. Currently in the PFS stage, RockTech is targeting to be one of the first lithium hydroxide producers outside of China to serve the increasing battery hydroxide demand. Canada and Europe are being considered as locations for installing a converter plant that will produce the battery grade lithium hydroxide from spodumene concentrate.
ANZAPLAN is proud to have been selected to perform the sample production of lithium hydroxide from a spodumene concentrate for RockTech’s PFS stage testwork.
