ANZAPLAN has been appointed by UKR Lithium Mining LLC to perform a PEA level engineering and cost estimation study for a lithium converter for the Polokhivske lithium project in Ukraine.
UKR Lithium has its headquarters in Mala Vyska, Kirovograd region, Ukraine, and owns the Polokhivske lithium deposit which is located a few kilometers away from their HQ. ANZAPLAN is finalizing the PFS level test work program targeting the optimization of the beneficiation of a lithium mineral sample from the Polokhivske deposit including locked cycle and variability tests.
In parallel, ANZAPLAN is starting the PEA level engineering and cost estimation study for a lithium converter for the Polokhivske lithium project. This study will consider different conversion routes for the Polokhivske petalite concentrate into battery grade lithium chemicals: conversion to lithium carbonate, indirect conversion to lithium hydroxide (via lithium carbonate) and direct conversion into lithium hydroxide.
